I (Kuldip Singh Uppal) came to Hong Kong from India thirty years ago. My father, Tarsem Singh Uppal was a police officer in the Colony’s British Police Force. In 1985, he started his first JoJo Mess in Wan Chai. I was involved in the business from the early days and with the hands on management experience I soon became an expert. The immediate success of JoJo Mess gave my family a platform to launch a chain of JoJo’s.In 1996, JoJo opened in Central. In 2003, Jashan Celebrating Indian cuisine opened for business in a prime location in Central. This success of Jashan resulted in the opening of fourteen new ventures: Bacco - A contemporary Restaurant & Bar in Sai Kung during 2006.  Subway - A chain of Sandwich Maker in Soho, Star Ferry and Central during the year 2007 .Followed by Barolo – Finest Italian Cuisine restaurant in Central. Uppal Hospitality Group has become Hong Kong's most successful and best-known Indian restaurant chain. Most of the here-mentioned restaurants are called Jo Jo's and nothing about their quality and authenticity could be preposterous. Their goal is to provide superior service with the best quality food to patrons.

Jojo:
Serve Authentic North Indian as well as South Indian Cuisine, the restaurant commenced business originally in 1985 with Jojo Mess Club in Wan Chai, we have been in the present location for about 5 years following a successful string of ventures in Hong Kong. Jojo has developed a reputation for its high quality of cuisine, attentive service, and an all over excellent dining experience.
 
Subway:
The Group has 4 outlets of Subway on the Hong Kong Island. Subway sandwiches and salads provide a healthy menu option to its customer, by providing fresh selection of vegetables and meat.
 
 
Jashan:
The launch of Jashan raises the benchmark for Indian Restaurants in Hong Kong. The restaurant is a true representation of Indian culture and cuisine. At Jashan you can experience a world-class innovative menu in a luxurious and contemporary setting. The restaurant has been honored with numerous awards in various categories. In 2009, Jashan was the first restaurant in Hong Kong to be mention in the Michelin guide for Indian cuisine.
 
Spice:
Spice is a modern concept and a perfect fusion of Asia, which showcases a mixed cuisine from various parts of India, Thailand and Malaysia. It is a contemporary restaurant featuring authentic Indian, Malay and Thai cuisines coupled with a vibrant ambience and a classy atmosphere, where luxury and a comfort go hand in hand. It is a great venue for hosting corporate events, parties, luncheons and gala dinners with facilities like projector screen, neon light, speakers and microphones. A spacious VIP room with stylish decoration accommodates up to 20 guests.
 
Barolo:
